A pioneer in the Quebec pool industry, Claude Fournier entered the field of pool construction over five decades ago. In 1989 he founded Piscines Bonaventure Inc. The company is now run by Claude’s son Mark, a third-generation pool builder. The Fournier family and employees are committed to building pools of the highest quality and craftsmanship.

OUR PROCESS
What makes a Bonaventure pool better is the Dry Gunite process, which is different from the shotcrete process. In the Dry Gunite process, the materials (cement and fine aggregates) are carried through a hose in the dry state to the point of application, where they are mixed with water from a second hose. This process uses less water than the shotcrete process, resulting in less shrinkage and stronger cement.
The Dry Gunite process remains one of the best ways to build a pool. It is more costly and requires greater skill than other methods, but it guarantees the strongest, most watertight pool possible.
